This historic fire hose consists of leather and copper alloy rivets that exhibited structural weaknesses, notable verdigris corrosion, and a waxy bloom from regular historic maintenance methods. Conservation treatment included cleaning, stabilization of the weakened leather, and fabrication of a support mount for display and storage.
