The conservation treatment for this zinc sculpture included restoring it to its original “bronze-like” appearance. Major structural work was undertaken to fortify the internal armature. The appearance was determined based on historical research and consultation with conservation experts and achieved through the use of a modern coating system devised in consultation with Golden Paints.
